Camp amongst one of Marlborough's last river-flat forests with towering beech, rimu and kahikatea trees bordering the beautiful Pelorus River. Choose between Kahikatea Flat campsite with toilets, showers and kitchen offering stunning river views on the south side of the river, or powered sites, with toilets and shower only, to the north.
The resident managers provide home-cooked meals, snacks, drinks, icecreams and souviners at the cafe during the day. Enjoy this popular swimming, kayaking, picnicking and fishing spot. Short walks (including wheelchair accessible paths) explore the surrounding forest and lead to the river and picnic areas.
